The bow is very impressive. I had to sell it due to financial reasons. Best Hoyt I' ve had since my Y2K Defiant.
You can see my speed results in the report. I was getting in the low 270' s w/ a 465-ish grain arrow (29" draw, 71 pounds), however the C.5 can be finnicky for speed when it' s out of time. A few months later I chrono' ed the same exact arrow @ 266 FPS w/out any other setup changes. I can only assume it was a slight change in the harness and/or string.
I' ve seen the same variances at the shop in the Hoyt C.5' s. Some are super fast, some slower than they should be..all depends on how well the cams are set up.
