I added a touch of loctite to each screw in the mounts and rings so I'm sure it'll be fine. Sure pleased to see these threads commenting on what a great choice this rifle is. Showed it to my neighbor and he ordered one. He also did something I'm not sure about. While checking out my gun, he held the trigger and then closed the bolt in such a way that released the pressure on the firing pin spring.I made the comment that billions of bolt action rifles sit in gun racks with the tension on the spring with no ill effects so I didn't see that as a good thing. Also, with CZ's set trigger system, it's probabely not even a good idea. The bolt was very hard to open after he'd done this and I'm hoping that his little trick didn't do any harm to the mechanism.Any comments on this?
