YES. It would be a total waste. A farmer will put 200 - 300 lbs of Nitrogen on a acre of corn.200 lbs of 46-0-0 will give you 92 lbs of Nitrogen. If you are going to take time and expense of tilling and planting "2 acres (1 bag) of corn, 2 acres of soys and 2 acres of buckwheat." .... go the extra 10% and at least give the corn 100 lbs of Nitrogen. You and the deer will be glad you did.
