i was lucky and found a used leupold varix II 3x9x40 for 150.....crystal clear....shoots like a dream.......also id make sure it was the scope before i bought a good scope for a junk gun......some guns just wont group well.....also it may be ammo....try diffrent grain bullets and diffrent bullets ect....it may be the ammo or even the gun....ive heard 7400s werent the most accurate thing there is...id definently make sure it was the scope before i dished out 300 to find out the gun still wont shoot.....
