I would ask myself if bringing home the meat was the only reason for the trip. If it is, then I can understand your concerns. If not, then I would just look at it as an inconvenience, and go on the trip and not worry about it. I would make sure however, that if you do score on an aminal that all of the meat would go to good use. JMHO.
