RE: YOU BOWTECH GUYS WILL BE PROUD!!!!!!!!!
String thing is somewhat complicated...
For bows that had little or no change from last year' s models (Mighty Mite, Tech-29) Bowtech used up what Winners Choice strings they had left. Then they started putting on " o2" which are Stone Mountain' s design.
The new for 2003 models came with Stone Mountain from the get-go (VFT, dual cams, etc).
The difference in the feel of the draw force curve from the 2003 I-cam (on the ExVFT) and the 2002 is pretty noticeable: they smoothed out the back end. the 2002 I-cam is not bad at all on the 2002 Patriot I have, but the same cam was pretty stout on the 2002 MM ( I suspect because of limb angles/pre-load).
The 2003 Patriot singlecam model has it' s own cam this year that is apparently even smoother than the 2003 standard I-cam.
The C.5 bows are funny..I think it depends on cam size and where the module is set. I shot a RazorTec & an Ultra-tec up at our shop a couple of months ago w/ their largest respective C.5 cam and they were very stout compared to my CyberTec draw length for draw length and poundage for poundage. Yet others I' ve drawn are like butter (my Cyber, and an Ultra 3000). We have some of the new Reflex models, but I' ve had no real desire to shoot them more than a couple of shots.
