clothing....thats all i use really....if your going to be walking a good pair of boots will be nice to have...if its really cold and alot of snow pac boots are nice...i dont know about your weather so i dont know....dress in layers so when you get hot you can shed some clothing...i dont use a tree stand or scents or scent eliminating stuff or anything..play the wind and you can get away with the bare minimal like i do.....i walk 2 miles to my spot so taking alot of equiptment and treestands ect is really tough....if i cant wear it it doesnt come...fill my pockets with what i can and between me and my dad we carry one small military back that you sling over a shoulder with our food and water...and a good seat is nice if your going to hunt snow or frozen ground...hunting can be very cheap and easy to get into.....or you can go all out and buy unneeded gear and spend 1000s...it doesnt matter....you need to scout and have a good spot to see and take deer...you can spend 1000s on gear and never see a deer....good luck....also welcome to the board.....stick around you can learn alot.....dont be afraid to post questions.....we were all new once and everyone knows what it is like to know nothing....no question is too stupid......post away!
