Thanks for all your input. I have planned a trip to Cabela' s and Bass Pro Shops in a few weeks and I will be able to compare many stands right on the spot. I am swaying towards the Summit Goliaith for the extra security. I think there are some good fixed stands I could buy but I' m not sure where I could hang them, I don' t have any private land as of this time. Can' t wait til Hunting season opens!!!
