I just might make a tripup for some grouse and woodcock hunting next fall.
We were finishing up some apple trees yesterday afternoon when we came across a couple woodcock, they must be heading back north.
Been kicking out woodcock here for about the last 3 weeks along Pine and Kettle.
Good ol' DWS. He sure could frazzle Pikes nerves.
He came up here to hunt a few years back. Very very smart man. I don't think he realized how high these hills were or how low the hollows laid. LOL. Haven't heard anything of him for quite a spell. He had diabetes real bad. Hope it didn't get 'em.
