check with some other hunters you know who might have one they would let you shoot. i borrowed a buddy' s knight disc, and by the next season, i had a disc extreme. these things are AWESOME. the trigger is probably better than any other gun i own. in-lines are the only way to go, get one with a 209 primer, they kick out 11 times the powder of a little cap, instant ignition every time. my shotgun is going to get this season off. i can' t get enough of this thing. knight' s customer service is great, and they are made in iowa. i would recommend a disc., either original or extreme. but if you can' t bring yourself to spend the extra cash, go for the wolverine 209, or even a 2003 american knight, they have upgraded their entry level muzzleloader to the 209 primer ignition. both come in a starter kit
