Ditto: i voted for the hike as well,,,I think it will hold the PGC to at least try to do a better job of managing the deer in Pa from a hunter stand point,,,and i also think it will get some guys out of the woods for a few years due to the extra out of pocket money being spent,,,i feel like the Pa. hunters did just what the PGC wanted them to do,,,they afforded the hunters the tags and the hunters shot the deer,,,it's plain and simple,,,there is no other argument,,,whatever the motive for the herd reduction,,,habitat,,,insurance co's,,,etc,,,(the conspiracy theories run rampid in these forums) the bottom line is this,,,,the hunters pulled the trigger. Oh,,, i will catch some **** over these remarks and so be it! but the guys that have studied the #'s for endless hours and searched for reasons for the lack of deer sightings,,,and spent endless hours on the computer bitchin about who did what to whom and when in how many different ways are probably the same guys burnin up 4 tags a year on the local doe herd!
