Long weekend! Levi has been having bad stomach pain since transplant. They started him on morphine. Sometimes after alot of chemo & radiation the throat, stomach or intestine will become irritated causing lining to sloth off. This is very painful, but will heal. He also has not been able to eat for some time. He will be starting nutrition through his tubes this evening.
On the bright side, Levi has completed 3 Lego sets since Thursday. It helps take his mind off the pain & nausea. When it becomes unbearable he will go and lie down. Most of the medications make him sleepy. The doctor told us that within the first 10-14 days the kids usually get sicker- hard to imagine. After about 2-3 weeks they begin to grow new cells, can't wait! Let's hope & pray this works!
