The third, and most invasive test is the one where they actually draw fluid from an arhritic joint to look for the spirochete germ because it is said to hide in joints making it fairly resistant to antibiotics.
Thanks for that bit of information. A few days ago I talked to a neighbor who has had serious health problems and the doctors can't diagnose the cause. He has had both positive and negative test for Lyme but the docs won't put him on antibiotics until they get a definite positive.. After our talk I was wondering if there was a test for the actual spirochetes and you provided the answer.
Is that the test they used to confirm you had Lyme?
