SST Interbond bullets?
Anyone used the new Hornady SST interbond bullets? The original SST is a polimer tipped, boat tail, thin skined bullet. The interbond is the SST but has a thick jacket that is tapered that they claim that it never, ever seperates from the core. I am going on a timberline mule deer hunt in September with my 270 and am considering using the Hornady light magnum with the 130 gr SST-IB bullet. Balistics chart shows it packs a wallop and is flat shooting. Since 400 yard shots are a real possibility, seems like a good choice. Guess I will just have to see how my gun likes the ammo. If they shoot straight, I will probably use them. Comments?
