Default RE: A right or wrong way to position decoys?

Well I went twice since I started this post and the first night was no success but just got back tonight and it was the best hunt of my life even though I didnt have any success killing. Im thinking turkey season here in Kansas are really starting up good....cause I went out tonight and had 2 toms hittin my call all night and then ended up having 4 toms come into me and one flew across the creek and landed about 7 yards in front of my face and I was unable to pick up my bow and draw until he flew back across and the group started to walk away.....I ended up missing at about 45 yards. One cool thing was that a hawk swooped down and grazed the back of my hen decoy with his claws. I have never had it happen to me before....anyone else?
