Does it say any where in that story the size of the clear cuts, I do believe that when areas are cut today they are not any where near as large as in the past.
And any one that knows anything about forestry knows that this 1 % plan that the state is using is a foolish waste of the timber resources we have and certainly won't help wildlife in any way.Private land owners are select cutting at 2 to 3 times what the state is.
Our small game populations are at an all time low,and pole timber is a big factor in why we've had the decline.
