Eastman as I understand it basicly is kinda a copy of the older Darton (with some licensing from Darton again as I understand it). I shot a couple at the trade shows and they are "OK" but a tad heavy IMO compared to other bows out there in their price range and I felt that they had abit more hand shock, but some people really liked them, so it is going to be a hit or miss if you cant get your hands on one to try, but if you like it the only issue is they are kinda off the radar as far as what their service is like. I personaly dont carry them as I did not see where it would have been a good addition to what I already carry, but I fully understand and appreciate the local business support
