I like a call that is clear on the front end, with some rasp at the end. I try to findcalls that have these qualities, with the young nasal hen sound to boot.
Thats where I'm at. Right on the edge of being raspy. Kinda sounds like a young and impressionable hen perhaps.... seems to work for me.
