i used carbons this last year and i think they are awesome, i use the beman ics camo hunters and the first and only deer i have shot with it yet was a straight passthrough then it stuck in a root the deer went 20 yards and dropped. i have no complaints, im not sayin whether or not an aluminum woulda done the same but it most likely would have been ruined. just my 2 cents
