Thx for the replies all. This rifle comes w/ the sights, but I think I can take them off. I remember I asked if they could order one w/o sights, but the guy said I can take them off. Can anyone verify this?

I will look into the Browning ABolts. Those are nice rifles and is prolly my 2nd choice right now. Another option it the Winchester version, but I like the way the 700 feels and it fits me well. i dont mind the white spacers. TBH - i never paid much attn. to them anyway.
