Look's like the quarter-bores did pretty good in the study. I can't wait to see how my new deer-swatter in 257 Wby Mag works on deer. I'm going to use the 100 grain Barnes Tipped TSX this year loaded to an estimated 3550fps. That outta get a deer's attention... for the few remaining seconds of it's life, anyway!

I'm going to try to get a bunch of January season antlerless tags to do some penetration tests of my own on a few deer with this load. As long as I do my part, I don't think that I'm going to need any dogs to find the deer (I hope).
