The 260 Nosler does have a HP but it is fairly shallow - not as shollow as a 300 grain Gold Dot, but not very deep. The 300 grain Nosler has what Nosler calls a Protected Point - but it really is nothing more than a flat tip like you would load in a 30-30... but that is good because it represents more frontal area...
