Default RE: calling all callers. Coyote ???

Early morning/first stand of the day, I would try either a couple series of female invitation howls alone, or throw out a couple interagation howls along with it. Wait 5 to 7 minutes, and maybe another series of female inviatation howls again. Wait another few minutes and go to rabbit distress for 5 to 7 minutes, and nothing shows yet, I'd then switch to another distress for another 5 to 7 minutes. If nothing shows by then, I might do a few more interagation howls, depending on how many stands and how much land I was wanting to cover. Don't rush things this time of year. In general the response time is slower now than in early winter. That don't mean that they won't show in 30 seconds after the first sound is broadcast, so you have to always be alert.
Don't be afraid to mix up the sounds. Try several different sounds if nothing shows. Maybe some fox distress. Maybe woodpecker. Etc.
