You don't have to spend 1200 dollars or more for a benelli. Now, I did have to pay over that for my supersport, but my turkey gun is a supernova, and I paid 430 for it. Topped it with an Indian Creek choke and running hevi 13 3" #5s through it I'm more than satisfied. I won't shoot a turkey over 40 yards, but after patterning at various rangesI'm confident I could make a clean kill at 60 yards with this combo. I started off hunting with a remington 870 with a hastings choke, and it also has killed several gobblers in its day. Never turkey hunted with a mossberg or browning, but I've heard good things about both. Good luck on whatever you choose.
