Default RE: Is Cabelas really for the Muzzleloader Hunter?

I used to live 20 minutes from a Cabelas and I miss the convenience. It is truly one-stop shopping. I agree most things in their store are priced higher than you may find at other stores. HOWEVER, they carried a large variety of ML products which means you have lots of options. So when I pay a buck or two more for something there I keep in mind that they charge a higher price (on most everything) because they maintain a huge inventory.

Now that I don't live close to cabelas I no longer consider them a primary resource for ML supplies. I know what I need and I can get it locally or online for less at other places. I wil drive there (45 min) when my credit card fills up with "bucks" and then typically buy clothing or other toys. For me it is still fun to just go there with the kids, look at the fish and mounts and scour the cave for deals.
