Not much of a story, but it did make me happy.

I was fishing by a dam near Palo Pinto Texas. This was about two days ago, and Spring is just around the corner, but it hasnt come yet. So naturally, nothing was biting. When I get bored, I always reel to the bank and play with the perch. The bobber was bobbing, and I was laughing because I wasn't even getting this perch, when my bobber DROPPED, and I saw a huge flash of yellow. That day, I pulled out the first fish of the year, which was a three pound carp about a foot long. Not huge, but it makes me happy that spring is around the corner.
