You have to remember.... Scent-Lok's carbon membrane is basically just peppered with activated carbon. It even says on the tag that you should try to only wash their garments a couple times throughout the season.

Military MOPP Suits (Chemical Suits) have a membrane with solid activated carbon and they're only rated for several washing PERIOD and, IIRC, 45 days of continuous use. How affective could Scent-Lok actually be if it has just a fraction of the absorbing material that our military grade suits have???
