RE: Spring Time shooting for a White Ultra Mag
Before I owned on of these and used to listen to you guys talk about the Whites and what they could do... I used to be a little skeptical to say the least. Then when Sportsmans Warehouse had that sale on them and everyone was getting them. I could not believe how easy and fun it was to shoot an inline. I was about ready to give up on inlines because I hate to swab. I do it, but I do not enjoy swabbing a bore.
Now I own three Whites. Actually that .451 Model 97 is a really tack driver. It has a Bushnell Elite 3200 on it and that rifle will just flat out shoot.
The Bison I bought more for parts as the bore I was told was in poor shape. And it is. Who ever owned that rifle should be tied to a tree and horse whiped. He let that bore go big time down hill. But I cleaned it up real good and it is a pretty good shooter for having a bore that looks like the devil.
