That's some great scores for just starting out...indoor archery can be quite a challange. I shot competitivley for a number of years...the highest I ever finished was 8th in the state finals...if you are using it to keep your hunting skills sharp, shoot the same arrows that you plan on hunting with...if you get into the competitve spirit, you may want to make a few variations in your fletchings...indoors there is no need for a helical feather...shoot straight fletching, 2, 3 or 4 inch feathers...there's no elements to contend with, so actualy if your bow is properly tuned you should be able to shoot bare shafts! The ultimate challange is to shoot a "scratch" 300 (no handicap)...you'll find that to do this consistantly it becomes more of a mental challange...if you're shooting raw scores of 293-295 now you're only a step away....the rest of the points are all between your ears...good luck and have fun with it....the best practice is 60 arrows a day...every day.

How many points did he have????
