Thundermug, I carry a field tip arrow with me in the stand, for grouse and such, at the end of a morning hunt I usually shoot the arrow into the ground, at a leaf or whatever, I have never noticed a difference (shot high or low). Now, call me stupid (which some will

), I know the theory that the arrow should go high, but it doesnt. Maybe because the target is flat on the ground instead of horizontal to it? I dont know, but I have shot many times and noticed little if no difference in impact area. Whats up, just wundering, maybe this has caused me some of those problems in the PAST.
