It's a go! Our donor has agreed to surgery! There is lots of prep for transplant, radiation starts in about a week. But we will be admitted on March 28th, and transplant will be on April 3rd!!!!!
Levi's counts are going down, he had a transfusion today. We left the hospital a little while ago, he'll probably be sick for a few days as his counts continue to drop. Then he can recover a little before radiation. He still needs one more surgery before begining transplant. Please pray that the fevers will stay away so that we can stay out of the hospital!

Almost everything that could go wrong went wrong today. There is no such thing as an "easy" or "short" treatment! We thought we were all ready to go in today ,get chemo, see radiation, no problem-right! They needed extra bloodwork that was not ordered yesterday. Levi's tubes decided not to work. Finally we had to take him to get a x-ray with dye to make sure nothing was broken or misplaced, it was'nt, his lines are just STUBBORN. Radiation set up went well, but it was long. And a bit scary. Finally about 3:30 he started getting pre-medicated for his chemo. Long day! Please be in prayer about Levi's tubes they need to draw bloodwork often, and for them not to work properly is not only inconvienient but it is stressful to Levi.
