Yes it is fantail. The gobblers body actually has a small hole that you run the stake down through and the head just goes on the stake. If you were to look at the decoy from the opposite side you would not see the stake, but you would see a second head coming out of the gobblers body. Up close it looks weird, but if a gobbler is out 50 or so yards and sees it he wont be able to tell the difference. I will most likely use this decoy with only one head at a time anyways.
