RE: new to hunting looking for advice - massachusetts
Hunting in Mass is tough sometimes. I have never called in a yote during the season. So I don't have much advice to offer there. Secondly for deer hunting don't tell anyone where you hunt and try and park you vehicle where people can't see you going in. Find your deer bedding spots and what they are eating. Also find trails that intersect. At the beginning of the season they will be feeding heavy and if you have any acorns dropping or hidden apple trees this is a great place. Set your blind up halfway between and hope they come down the trail. If the food source is on a neighboring propertyfind the travel routes to it. I usually hunt fields but do have some propertys that I hunt the ridges they me coming down to feed. another good thing to do is drive around and watch for the trails in the snow. With alot of the antis around wait until the deer start to eat the four hundred dollar shrubs and then approach the land owner and ask permission. Tell them you may be able to help them with the destruction the deer are doing on the property
