The 260 is a great gun that is catching on in popularity. Its a 308 case that has been necked down to fir a 6.5mm(.264) caliber bullet. Its really getting popular with the longrange guys because of the ballistic coefficents the 6.5's have. It can take deer three times farther then you want to shoot and is usually ideal for hunting with a 120 gr. bullet. I would go for it if the gun is at a good deal. You won't be disappointed in the 260.
