I tend to agree that the kind we were concerned about won't bother till September and the last week will likely be the big selling week for crossbows.

The guys buying bows now are most likely the ones that intend to practice all year to be ready and if a crossbow guy is buying now so that he can properly prepare for the season then I would say say welcome to a new fellow bowhunter. He'd be demonstrating the right mindset and commitment to becoming an ethical bowhunter.
