This is the next upgrade from the original Scout Guard SG550 that has been around for about a year. The V model is like the sg550 except that it now has a built in viewer in the remote. Has slightly different hardware and software to accommodate the viewer capabilities. Same size and look still holding on as the smallest trail cam on the market. I have 2 of the SG550V series running 24/7 since it came out beginning of this year and have had no issues with it.
