I have shot the 300wsm in an HS precison rifle with a recoil reducer in the stock and it is an awsome gun with little recoil, just don't like the snap of a 150 gr in a 7 pound rifle
I've learned to get used to it. I'm shooting a Howa with the Hogue stock and Hogue recoil pad. It's a light gun too. I figure it's worth the benefit to carry a light gun for hours at end, the recoil only lasts a second.
