RE: TUNING PROBLEM WITH MY ARROWS!!!
I am using 100 grain tips, and I don' t really want to go any less than that.
We tried just about everything, adjusting the rest and nock. It was just like an erratic flight. Like I said, we got the PSE arrows to shoot perfectly, but, the BlackHawk Vapors just weren' t doing it.
I am using the N.A.P. QuickTune 3000 Micro, and we did adjust the prong tension to as low as we could, and it didn' t help on the BlackHawks.
We tried 3 different BlackHawks and each was doing the same thing.
He was pretty perplexed about the situation himself. We tried everything in the book.
I just don' t know if it is even worth it to cut the BlackHawks. Alot of guys said that the BlackHawks have durability problems, and cutting them down might just make that area even weaker.
Nub, on the BlackHawks, I have about 2-1/2" from my rest to the insert. On the 29" PSE' s, I had roughly a 1/2" distance between the rest and the insert.
I am just thinking that it might be a better idea to just get the exact same arrows John had to shoot. They are shooting great out of my bow, and I havn' t really heard anything bad about them.
