Default RE: "Trouble Free" Bowtech owners thread

ORIGINAL: JeffB

Having been a BT fan before, and on the staff at one time, and still being a BT fan, I think this statement is very unfair.

Rob and Greg/MO also were highly repsected people here long before their affilliation with BT. Calling them out as "doing their job" is B.S.

:steps off soapbox:
No doubt, I know many more BT staff shooters than any others. A few are people of the highest character. Rev, Greg, Russ, and many others are top notch people. I couldn't see Greg ever promoting crap, or Bob. Niether of these folks need the equipment, or feed thier egos. Thats why I said in another thread, these folks earn anything they get from BT. Matt told me his schedule for shows and working booths, and I sat there amazed. Because he is working his butt off. I even like Dan. I have no hard feelings to the man. I have bought stuff off Dan. It just gets tiring hearing the same ole "I do not have problems with mine" answer. Thats call spin. And we can see thru that. I am not the only one that does. Because 95% of the time, he is not answering the question at hand. Sure, he has no trouble with his. But actually read the question first. When someone says thier cam is cutting into thier serving, and show pictures, it sure doesn't help the poster with "I don't have any trouble with mine". Thats useless. Thats spin.If I was a staff shooter and wanted to be helpful, I would try to give them a little more insight or I would do like some and leave that thread alone. Which is smart. When someone has a problem with a splintering limb, it doesn't help the consumer to say, "I have seen bows dry fired, and cars run over them". So whena staff shooter does this, you are bascially discrediting them, and callin them a lier. And that doesn't benefit Bowtech.I am a highvolumn bow buyer as you are Jeff. And it turns me off the more I see it on HNI. Sure, mostclaims are probably not legit. But beating up on us consumers, trying to discredit us sure doesn't do Bowtech any good. And I respect Pat, but if he can't see that, then we, consumers got a choice. And bowtech needs to understand, getting to the top of the heap is one thing, and impressive, stayin up there is quite tough. Look at PSE, bear, jenning and Hoyt, companies I grew watching climb to the top to come tumbling. Hoyt of course has been the most successful at hanging onto a upper top 3 spot. You tell me hoyt doens't have awesome customer service.

Ok, off my joe smoe consumer box.
