Seeing that he mentioned the 22-250 and it isn't available in the R-15 VTR I think he was talking about the 700 VTR.

They are good rifle and accurate from what I have heard. Confidence in your rifle is the main thing to killing deer. If you would feel more confident get it in a 243 or 308.
