typically in april and from what I have heard that is the most crucial time for getting the right minerals, if they don't get enough of what they need in april there racks will definately be lacking what they could have been, don't get too sold on big name brand products, if you have a local feed store go there and get some trace mineral blocks and some loose stuff too, they cost way less than the big name brand and have everything in them and more quanity too, also they will direct you too some other mineral lick stuff like maybe a 4lb white salt block and ect. I am not too familar with too many of the feed pellets and what not but that would be cool too.
