Stalking bear is correct - it is one of those made for the hardware trade guns, marked to suit the hardware chain that sold them. Like Western Auto or some such outfit.

A perfect example would be the vaious "J.C. Higgins" & "Ted Williams" pieces Sears used to sell. A well-known maker produced them and put a name on as requested by the retailer.
