2G is spotty. Some areas are large voids and other areas harbor a decent number of deer (by today's standards). The problem we found this year is that other hunters found the same areas that we did. Word gets around.

Note that we've been hunting the second week of the season for quite some time and the PGCchanged the antlerless season to the second week in 2G this year. We always had less opportunity in the second week, but enjoyed hunting without the crowds of people that only hunt the first day or two of the season.
