Well I'd get a 3" just because my .410 shotgun uses 3" so then I'd have no reason to buy 2.5" .410, also perhaps in the .45LC that extra 1/2" or whatever will be more accurate...

but ya past 20yds? who's shooting that far? haha.

and ya maybe up close and personal....not sure how much birdshot from a .410 would do to a man up close...or say 10feet/yds? I sure not pretty, not sure lethal though? but you could load 1 .410 and 1 .45LC have options....

Least with the .410 you'll know you'll hit something.....or there's always .410 buckshot...not sure about 00, maybe no.4 buckshot is it? lots of options....

I just like the smaller snakeslayer....sure rather have 5 shots...but Id want something small just in case...not planning to really use it...to defent against anything but a snake really.
