Well it is an oddly worded regulation. It states that, "An area is considered to be baited for 10 days after the removal of the bait and any affected soil." So technically you can put minerals and bait on your property but I really do not feel like removing the soil to keep myself legal. It is much easier to just put out some corn and oats in front of my cameras every now and then durring the off season. Once you stop putting out food it goes away quite quickly compared to a mineral lick that can take a long time to go away unless you remove the soil. So to make sure I am following the rules I just stick to putting out a little bit of feed every now and then to make sure I get a few pictures.
