RE: Deer stoppers(bait) in front of camera
I use a product called Lucky Buck. It comes in a white bucket and the product looks like a fine red sand. It smells like apples. I don't know what is in it but the deer hammer it for months even after you no longer see the product on the ground. Last year I put some out in the first part of June and by Sept. they had a hole as big as a bushel basket and about a foot deep. You can google that name, Lucky Buck,and get their website. I think the cost is about 17.50 a bucket and it is free shipping. I have also bought it at Gander Mtn. for about 24.00 a bucket. Over the years I have used several products in front of my cameras but this is by far the best. The deer just seemed to love it. Hope this helps.
