In the spring i like to set up mineral lickswith trace minerals and deer attractants. I might use corn to get them to start on it. About corn, i used to use it all the time for picture taking purposes, but i have learned over time that it is bad for deer to get patterned on corn so i have done away with it except for above. In the summer i like to put my cameras over field, or clearings, especially earlier in the warm weather cycle to get strutting turkey pictures. As for fall, its always scrapes. They are without a doubt my most favorite thing to put a camera over. I have gotten all my best pics over annual community scrapes. This time of year, i find the most worn out deer trail and put my camera facing directly down it so thati get pictures of anything walking it.
