Dana, ran into a staff member of KDWP this morning, the nominations do NOT have to be confirmed by the legislature, whomever she appoints is in. The person I talked to was very PC in as much as he didn' t want to give his true feelings on the appointments. All he would say was that he would remain optimistic until proven otherwise. I still cannot believe the Governor would want to gamble her political future this way.
