In over 20 years of bowhunting, I' ve seen countless occassions where bucks have fought or light sparred....and as everyone knows, our buck to doe ratio is way out of whack.
Same here!!! My area has had extended doe only seasons for the last seven years.
IMO , the more you sit out there during the entire rut phase the better chances you' ll have of seeing some action. Try sitting out there from dusk till dawn the two week period before prime rut. Before I started hunting the entire day I had never wittnessed it (my first 15 years or so of hunting) , only heard it a couple times.
