Default RE: Grains/pound???

At 380 grains, I' d say you' re right to be worried about being too light for moose. I' m sure somebody, somewhere has used a 350 grain arrow to kill a moose. There are also people that ride motorcycles without helmets. Just because it' s done doesn' t make it a good idea. Go back to the heavier arrow or weight up the GoldTips. If you' re worried about the trajectory, just stand closer to the animal to shoot at it.
